The
Black Horse Inn Freehouse is a 16th Century, Grade Two building
situated in the beautiful village of Brent Pelham, Hertfordshire.
All our dishes are homemade and cooked to order, using local
suppliers whenever possable and we pride ourselves in giving
a friendly service to all that come to visit us. A public
footpath runs through the car park leading to the most stunning
walks, bridleways and views around Hertfordshire and is
enjoyed by many diffrent people, dogs and horses.
Our Starters, to name a few are Pan Seared Scallops with
pancetta and lemon dressing, Smoked Salmon with mackerel
and horseradish pate and there are many more...
Main
courses are our very popular Maple glazed Pork Belly with
a yummy crackling , Fillet Steak with Stilton, Smoked Bacon
and Maderia Gravy, Fresh Fish delivered daily and an ever
changing specials board. Also a Vegeteriran menu is available.
For
those who have a little room left for pudding we have a
White, Milk Chocolate and Tia Maria Cheescake, Vanilla Creme
Brulee and if your feeling really naughty why not have our
Pudding Plate to share.
The Black Horse champions a well stocked bar which comprises
of local real ales from Buntingford Brewery, lagers, spirits
and a commendable Wine list as well as Soft drinks for those
who are driving.
If its a warm sunny day there is a large garden where the
whole family (including the dog) can relax and enjoy the
surroundings, there is also a large car park.
For
those cold dark nights we have real open fires to make your
visit a warm and cosy one.
